Can you hear something? Yes, IN SPAIN.
Sadly most of my thoughts during this episode were, “oh hey Alonzo, how’s Captain Jack?” because Doctor Who ruins everything but other than that there were some genuinely creepy moments. Not as visually stunning/well-designed as A Scandal in Belgravia, though—except for the memory palace part, which was very cool. The memory palace/method of loci is a real (and ancient) memory device that works, if you’re curious, as long as you remember where you put the thing that you’re supposed to remember. Also it’s the name of a really good podcast.
